Salsa Dance Fiesta Club and Studio was founded by Michael Adegoke and Robert Foster, a former Latin World Dance Champion. On July 27th 2003, the ballroom floor was open for salsa dance with over 203 members launching their first grand opening for 3+hours for $7.00. Within one year, its members increased by 500% bringing in almost 1000 members. Today, it is the largest salsa dance scene in Minnesota. Every Sunday by 7:00pm The Studio is packed with salsa dancers from all over Twin Cities, Rochester and even from Wisconsin. It’s the biggest salsa dance fever in Minnesota.
As ballroom dancers, Michael and Robert place strong emphasis on teaching salsa in ballroom style because it looks good to the eyes. Women are taught to look graceful and learn hip rotation while men are taught how to present the woman and still master the floor. Michael and Robert bring together instructors of the highest caliber from all over the U.S. and the world to bring you the best instruction possible. Our salsa classes are taught by 5 professional dancers including former national, world competitors and/or champions and are most comprehensive in the Twin Cities.
