I am Michael Adegoke (CEO & CO owner Salsa Dance Fiesta Club & Studio). Minnesota is one of the states where salsa is growing very fast.  In late 90’s to early 2002, it seems like the “Salsa Virus” has spread all over the Twin Cites. Salsa clubs were everywhere and you could go out dancing most nights of the week at fancy restaurants and events. 

What makes New York and Los Angeles salsa scene a great success is they continue with the trend and expanding on it everyday.  Today in year 2007, many of our favorite salsa clubs are closed down due to one reason or the other. As these clubs and restaurants are shutting their doors to salsa, the remaining salsa clubs are becoming over crowded with extreme beginners and hard-core salsaros, thus choking the fun out of dancers who need space to dance their soul out.  The era of Salsa is still fairly new to Minnesota and we can all build this together. 

The solution is easy!  I with other visionaries have embarked on designing and building the largest state of the art architectural salsa dance building in Downtown Minneapolis.  The new studio & club will be named “SALSA 7 DAYS”.  It will provide the most exclusive multi-level VIP rooms, marbled dance floor, late night restaurant, private & elegant restrooms, state of the art media/sound system and valet parking boasting an undisputable appeal that can be rivaled by few.

The project location is by the old Mineapolis Café and work will continue through Fall 2008.  Meanwhile, I’m simply asking all salsa fans and people to log into our website and contribute into bringing “SALSA 7 DAYS” nightclub and studio into existence by 2009.  Budget for this magnificent 9000 square foot building is estimated at a cool $5 Million.

Together we can revolutionize salsa in Minnesota holding our own Salsa Congress, bring in top and world Salsa Legends and above all when most places  are closing down, rest assure that “SALSA 7 DAYS” will always have it’s door open
